Marcine Franckowiak

FOUNDER/Lead Muralist
 

Marcine Franckowiak has been painting murals for the past 10 years. After receiving her undergraduate degree in painting from San Francisco Art Institute in 2007, she moved to NYC to get a master’s in painting, and critical theory at Pratt art institute in Brooklyn. Here she developed a love for public art which drove her to move to Philadelphia to attend Philadelphia’s mural arts training program. She later moved back to NYC and was hired as the first female apprentice to Colossal Media, a mural advertising company.

After working in NYC for 5 years she moved to Los Angeles to pursue other large scale painting opportunities. She worked at Disneyland painting the life size structures of Star Wars land, Galaxies Edge for 2 years.

Currently Marcine is the head of Magic Media as head painter based in Santa Fe New Mexico. She also works with other prolific companies across the country.

 
 

Jimmy Dean Horn

Project Coordinator/Designer
 

Jimmy Dean Horn has been working as a graphic designer for over a decade. He received his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2012, while studying he worked as a freelance designer for Dimitrious II, a small design firm in Brooklyn, focusing on small and local businesses. After graduating he was offered an Art Director/ Designer position at Ogilvy NYC where he worked on a few award winning teams, and even did a project with the Obamas while in the White House. 

He continued to develop his design craft with Tipping Gardener a small Design and Branding shop in Soho, where he rebranded and worked with clients like Chapstick, Intel, Samsung, Duke Farms and more. Until a Creative Director he worked with at Ogilvy offered him a position at Digitas. He joined their team and worked on numerous accounts, such as Travelers Insurance, Crown Royal, and award winning American Express & Small Business Saturday. Eventually bringing increasingly fed up with the inner political of large agencies and almost a decade of working in NYC he moved to LA where he has since been working for himself as a full time freelancer and the designer for Magic Media. His most notable work in LA is his work with DicE Magazine as the Art Director and Designer. 

With Magic Media he help coordinate murals, and does most of the behind the scenes work. Though that doesn’t stop him from occasionally getting up on the side of a building with Marcine and the team to knock out murals. He specializes in typography and glass work.
